The vigil continues at Bookham. Rob Hill and Ken Willmott are hefted to the spot, waiting for the first iris of the year.
Bookham is likely to get it as the Sussex butterfly folk are whooping it up at the newly discovered Black Hairstreak site on the East Sussex - West Sussex border, and I'm on Exmoor counting High Browns (which look set for a good year in Heddon Valley).
So, no one's looking at Knepp (Neil should be but is doing pruni. This means he is in breach of The Faith and is likely to be declared apostate)....... I'm arriving at Knepp on Sat or Sun.
