Botany Bay Underway

On Wednesday July 11th Mark Colvin and Nick Broomer managed the first sightings (3 in all) and groundings of the season at Botany Bay, Chiddingfold Forest. I'm pleased to report that one of the Emperors thrashed a Garden Warbler before touching down. Of the two seen on the deck one was in mint condition, while the other was at least a few days old and showed malicious avian damage. Image by Mark Colvin.
