I thought your contributors would be interested to see a visit to my
trousers of His Imperial Majesty at Straits Inclosure, Alice Holt. 2 males were
seen in the same area, one with piece of forewing missing and this fresh looking
purple jewel. I feel very lucky to have had such a close encounter, considering
such abysmal recent weather. The sightings were at 10.30 and 11.00 on 17/7/12.
Incidentally he visited my trousers twice!
