Purple Hairstreak?

Matthew commented no White-letter Hairstreak but is anyone else struggling to see Purple Hairstreak. No Purple Hairstreak seems to indicate for us no Purple Emperor. All reports coming through to the Branch website (HMBC) are commenting no Purple Hairstreak although yesterday I had the encouraging news of 14 late afternoon at Ally Pally One can assume that all the aphid honeydew has been washed off! The woods we were in today were absolute bogs! Liz
